There are four Commonwealth Acts which cover veterans' pensions and other benefits. Depending on when you served and the date of injury as to which Act applies. You may be entitled to assistance under one or more of the Acts.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PROCESS YOUR OWN DVA PENSIONS OR COMPENSATION CLAIM.

DO NOT ENGAGE A LAWYER to process your DVA claim/claims on a pay only if you win basis. There are trained claims officers from a lot of ex-service organisations in Australia who will do a BETTER job FREE.

You will find that mostly LAWYERS will separate every little thing to make an extra claim and charge you about $7000 for each one that gets accepted plus you will have to pay for every medical appointment that they arrange for you. They will not miss an opportunity to take as much of your money as they can. our advice is "BE VERY CAREFUL " dealing with these firms.
