The Darwin Office – Scott and Susan’s story

For the last 2 years Young Diggers have been fantastic support to Scott and I during Scott’s struggle with ill health as a result of his service in the Army. John was there for us, calling us regularly to make sure we were doing okay and offering us advice and assistance. It is for this reason that we wanted to return the favour and we are honoured to be at the forefront of establishing the Young Diggers Darwin office.

We hope that we can offer help and support to servicemen and women and their families who are dealing with the psychological and physical effects of their service.

Scott served with the Army and was deployed overseas and so has firsthand experience of the difficulties faced by those returning home from deployment.

Not having been in the military myself but having been through the last three years with Scott, I hope that I can offer help and support to the wives and families of servicemen and women who are struggling to deal with the psychological and physical effect of their service.

If you think that Scott and I can help you or a family member then please drop us an email or give us a call. Click here for our contact details.
